Established in partnership with Aksa Power Generation and MITSUBISHI, the company will produce generators under the MItsubIshI-Aksa brand. MItsubIshI engines will be used in production.


The global brand Aksa Power Generation established a high-tech generator production facility with Japanese industrial giant Mitsubishi. The new company, headquartered in Asia Pacific, will create additional business volume of 100 million USD per year.
 
Selling to 170 countries from America to Asia, from Africa to Oceania; Aksa Power Generation, one of the five largest generator manufacturers in the world with its production facilities in Turkey, China and the USA, has signed an important cooperation that will increase its place in the world league as a global brand. Aksa Power Generation established a joint venture with Japanese industrial giant Mitsubishi to produce high-tech generators based in Asia Pacific.
The agreement regarding the establishment of the company, which will provide innovative solutions for the production of high-tech Generators and especially to meet the needs of Data Center Projects, was signed between Japan's largest engine manufacturer Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and Aksa Power Generation. The synergy that will be created by meeting the engine production technology of engine giant Mitsubishi and the production power and engineering capacity of Aksa, one of the largest generator manufacturers in the world, on the same platform will enable them to take a more active role in new projects. The newly established company will produce generators using Mitsubishi engines under the Mitsubishi–Aksa brand. The new company established will create an additional business volume of 100 million USD per year.
Aksa Power Generation CEO Alper Peker, who stated that Aksa Power Generation has been among the leaders not only in Turkey but also in global markets as a brand that has been the symbol of trust for 35 years, said that they have become a brand that directs, not follows the developments in the sector. Stating that their partnership with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries will further the growth momentum they have achieved in the world market, Peker continued as follows:
“The selection and use of generators is becoming more and more important in order to ensure continuity in energy requirement in our daily life and working environment. In order to meet this need in the best way, it is necessary to follow the technological developments around the world more closely. We consider our cooperation with Mitsubishi in this direction. Alper Peker stated that the partnership process was realized after more than two years of technical, engineering and quality negotiations. “In the light of the evaluations and analyzes made by Japanese authorities who are experts in their fields, Aksa Power Generation has successfully completed this process thanks to its 35 years of industry experience and superior quality standards and became a partner with the world giant.” Drawing attention to the support of Turkey's rising brand image in Aksa Power's global journey in recent years, Peker said, "The Turkish brand image, which has developed and strengthened accordingly, has been registered in the international arena with this cooperation."

The target is to be one of the top three manufacturers
Aksa Power Generation's CEO, Alper Peker, stated that Aksa Power Generation is working with the goal of becoming one of the top three manufacturers in the world by 2025, and gave information about its growth strategies. Peker said, “As a part of our growth strategy, as Aksa Power Generation, we aim to enter the top three in the world market by continuing our investments in many countries in the African Continent, North-South American countries and India, as well as in Europe. At the same time, we will accelerate our development by expanding our worldwide sales network by pursuing possible opportunities in the African and South American markets. In the long term, we aim to increase our market share in the Brazilian and Australian markets," he said.
 
It has become a world giant in 35 years
The company, which was founded in 1968 and continued its life with the Aksa Power Generation brand in 1984, is among the companies that make a high contribution to the Turkish economy with its exports to 168 countries and being among the top five manufacturers in the global sector. Supporting the development of this continent by taking part in the African market for 20 years, Aksa Power Generation has three production facilities in Turkey, China and the USA. Providing service with 19 offices and 4 representations in Asia, Europe, Africa and America, Aksa reached a turnover of 1.5 billion TL in 2018. The company generated 65% of its turnover from overseas sales.
